Next Steps: Seniors Making University Decisions
As tomorrow is commitment day for many universities around the world, we want to take a moment to reflect on the journeys of our graduating seniors. For many, the next step has come into focus: a new chapter at amazing colleges and universities around the globe.
This year, our students have received over 1,000 offers from 213 incredible universities worldwide, including Ivys and many of the most selective colleges and universities. At SAS, success isn鈥檛 measured by rankings, but by the courage to follow your own path to your dream. Our students have done just that, and we are very proud of each of them!
One trend we observed this year was an increase in student interest in top global institutions beyond the United States. Our students did exceptionally well with three acceptances to Oxford, three to Cambridge, three to Imperial, and ten to University College London, for example. The quality of an SAS education is well known to admissions officers around the world and our students鈥 long history of success after matriculation makes SAS students highly sought after.
Our college counselors are focused on helping students identify schools where they will thrive. We succeed when our students find a program that speaks directly to their passions, whether in art, design, technology, or business. As always, the full matriculation list will be shared in the fall once all decisions are finalized. But today, we celebrate those Eagles who are ready to take flight. You鈥檝e worked hard, stayed true to yourselves, and now you鈥檙e off to explore new horizons. Remember that university isn鈥檛 the final destination, it is the next step in your lifelong learning journey!
