Join ISTA for an immersive three-day IB DP Theatre workshop that will strengthen your understanding of theatre practice, pedagogy, and assessment.

Led by experienced IB Theatre educators, this hands-on learning experience goes beyond theory to explore how the course can be delivered creatively and confidently in a diverse range of teaching contexts.

This event features the following specific workshop categories:

  • Category 1 & 2 (Combined) – For mixed groups of new and experienced teachers exploring both foundational and advanced aspects of IB Theatre. Participants will register for the appropriate category based on their experience level and receive a certificate for the registered category only.
  • Category 3: Collaboratively Creating Original Theatre – Explores ensemble processes, devising methodologies, and student-led creation.

Across three days, participants will engage in practical activities, discussions, and collaborative inquiry designed to:

  • Explore the IB DP Theatre guide and assessment components.
  • Connect creative practice with curriculum design and delivery.
  • Develop strategies for student engagement, reflection, and authentic assessment.
  • Build a supportive network of fellow IB Theatre practitioners.
